I was invited by Mr. Daniel A.D. Polski, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic at his official residence and enjoyed a conversation with several people. I still remember Nara-kun's comment on my trip schedule to Argentine years ago. He said that it was unbelievably tight and impossible. The Argentine people I met today were also shocked to learn that I had such a lot of experiences in their country during a couple weeks or so.
The people I met today were so warm and wise and they were full of patriotism. We had a very good time mutually, exchanging various information.
The residence was quite a gorgeous architecture, including the beautiful paintings that decorate the rooms. And they served us a lunch of such a high grade! I could not help but respect the chef of the house, though I did not have a chance to meet him.
On the menu it was written as "Lunch Party inviting Ms. Mahoko Yoshimoto" (I wonder why it was my real name!?). I was really impressed by the chef's work; how he controlled his skill and energy. This kind of work is only possible by the chef who considered the quantity and the quality of the food throughoutly.
The salad of shrimps and oranges was very well balanced. The cream was reduced for the cold soup of red paprika. Instead a little bit of sour cream was floating on the soup beautifully. A small piece of ram steak was roasted exquisitely. The dessert was a warm chocolate cake. It was so incredibly delicious that I ate it all without leaving anything, even though I don't usually eat sweets.
As soon as we left the residence, Risappi and I told each other how we loved the lunch so much.
